Welcome to the Bramlett Elementary Media Center!

"Libraries allow children to ask questions about the world and find the answers. The wonderful thing is that once a child learns to use a library, the doors to learning are always open."  - Laura Bush

Media Center hours are 7:00 AM to 2:50 PM Monday through Friday during the school year.

Students can check out books any time we are open with a pass from their teacher.  Students in Pre-K, Kindergarten and 1st Grade may check out one (1) book at a time after completing all the steps in library orientation. Students in Grades 2-5 may check out two (2) books at a time.

Library books are checked out for a week at a time. We ask that students bring all books back to the library during their weekly library class time. They can return or renew the books as desired.

Classes come to the Media Center throughout the week to hear a story and check out books. Students will also receive lessons in library, research, and technology skills.

Parents are welcome to come to the Media Center to check out books to read to their children at home. You may check out up to two (2) books under your name at a time. Your children will be responsible for returning your books to the Media Center.

There are no fines for overdue books, but if a child loses or damages a library book, they will only be able to check out one (1) book at a time and it cannot go home until the lost or damaged book fine is paid. We know that accidents happen, but please let us know when a book is damaged or lost.
